The extension bar is used for live work up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC on switchgear connecting boxes, cable lines and overhead lines. Extension bar used to increase the distance between the sockets and the drive handles. Allows access to screws located deep inside the device. Works with sockets, allen sockets, drive bars as well as torque wrenches and other tools that have ½" square sockets and connectors.
