Online Store Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms of Use (hereinafter – the Terms) establish the procedure for purchasing goods in the online store www.vallin.lv (hereinafter – the Store).

1.2. The owner of the Store is SIA “Vallin”, registration No. 40003722699, legal address: Latgales iela 322, Riga, LV-1063, phone: +371 67187204 (hereinafter – the Seller).

1.3. By using this website, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the Terms.

1.4. The Seller reserves the right to change the Terms at any time by publishing the updated version on the website. The changes take effect at the time of publication.


2. Purchase Procedure

2.1. The Buyer selects the desired products, adds them to the shopping cart, and fills in the necessary information to complete the order.

2.2. The agreement between the Buyer and the Seller enters into force when the Seller confirms the order by sending a confirmation email.

2.3. All prices are shown in euros (EUR), including value-added tax (VAT).

2.4. The Seller reserves the right to change product prices, offers, and delivery costs at any time without prior notice. These changes do not apply to already confirmed orders.


3. Agreements for Custom Orders

3.1. To arrange a Custom Order, the Buyer sends a request (hereinafter – the Request) to SIA “Vallin” by email: info@vallin.lv. After receiving the Request, SIA “Vallin” may request additional information necessary to prepare the Custom Order.

3.2. Based on the Buyer’s Request and provided information, SIA “Vallin” prepares a Custom Order offer for a specific time period or for a specific Buyer order.

3.3. In the case of a Custom Order, the Agreement enters into force when the authorized representatives of both Parties have signed the Custom Order. After the Agreement enters into force, the Buyer places the order(s) in accordance with the procedure described in these Terms.


4. Payment and Delivery

4.1. Payment for goods can be made via:

  • payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, etc.);
  • online bank transfer;
  • payment upon receipt (only by contactless payment card).

4.2. The order is considered paid on the day when the payment is credited to SIA “Vallin” bank account.

4.3. Goods are delivered via:

  • courier service;
  • parcel terminal (Venipak);
  • or collected in person at SIA “Vallin” warehouse, Latgales iela 322, Riga, LV-1063.

4.4. The delivery time depends on the chosen delivery method and is specified in the order confirmation.

4.5. If the Buyer chooses to collect the goods from SIA “Vallin” warehouse, the Buyer must do so within the term specified in the Order, or, if not specified, within 3 (three) weeks from the notification by SIA “Vallin” that the goods have arrived at the warehouse. If the collection deadline is not met, SIA “Vallin” has the right to charge a storage fee – EUR 0.50 per square meter of occupied warehouse space per day.

4.6. If the order cannot be fulfilled (e.g., the product is no longer available), the Seller will inform the Buyer and refund the received payment within 7 working days.


5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

5.1. The Buyer – a natural person – has the right to withdraw from the purchased goods within 14 days without providing a reason, presenting proof of purchase from our online store.

5.2. Only products suitable for resale and in the manufacturer’s original packaging will be accepted for return. The resale suitability is assessed by a SIA “Vallin” specialist.

5.3. The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • products made or customized according to the Buyer’s individual order;
  • cable sections;
  • personal protective equipment.

5.4. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send a completed withdrawal form to the email: info@vallin.lv.

5.5. The Buyer must return the goods to the address: Latgales iela 322, Riga, LV-1063, within 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice.

5.6. The refund will be made to the same account from which the payment was received, no later than 14 days after the goods have been received and inspected.

5.7. If the Buyer receives incorrect goods, they must notify SIA “Vallin” immediately, but no later than within 7 working days, by email info@vallin.lv or by phone +371 67187204. Upon receiving information about incorrectly delivered goods, SIA “Vallin” undertakes to collect such goods at its own expense and replace them with the correct ones. If the ordered goods are not available in the Seller’s warehouse, the Seller will refund the Buyer for the product(s). The refund will be made immediately, but no later than 14 days after the Seller receives the Buyer’s notice about the incorrect goods, or from the date the Buyer returns the goods to the Seller.


6. Warranty

6.1. If a product does not meet quality requirements and/or technical specifications, the Buyer must notify SIA “Vallin” in writing immediately, but no later than within 1 month after the order delivery, specifying the order number, delivery note number, and attaching the non-compliant/defective goods.

6.2. SIA “Vallin” reviews the Buyer’s notification as soon as possible and informs the Buyer whether it is justified. If justified, SIA “Vallin” will replace the non-compliant goods or refund their value.

6.3. Goods that are damaged after delivery to the Buyer, especially if the defects could have been noticed at the time of delivery, will not be exchanged or refunded.


7. Personal Data Processing

7.1. The Seller processes the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Latvian legislation.

7.2. The Buyer’s data is used only for order processing, delivery, and invoice preparation.

7.3. The Buyer has the right to request information about the use of their data, as well as to request its deletion or correction by contacting the Seller via email: info@vallin.lv.

8. Liability

8.1. The Seller is not liable for losses incurred by the Buyer due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., communication or internet disruptions, supplier delays, etc.).

8.2. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the provided information and for any consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete data.


9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. Any disputes or disagreements arising between the Parties during the execution of the Agreement shall be resolved through mutual negotiations.

9.2. If no agreement is reached, the Buyer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
