Insulated cutters are designed for cutting rods, wires, screws, and steel rivets with a diameter of up to 12 mm, which are structural elements of switchgear, cable lines, and overhead lines. A key feature is the insulation that covers the handles, providing protection against electric shock in the event of live components during live working. This insulation meets the requirements of IEC 60900 for, among other things, rated voltages such as 1000 VAC and 1500 VDC, ensuring safety during electrical tasks.
